Rollout has no user accounts, no tracking, no advertising, and no analytics SDKs. Your data stays on your device. We do not run a server that stores your information.
If you grant permission, your device location is used only to search for places near you. The coordinates are sent directly from your device to the mapping service (OpenStreetMap's Overpass and Nominatim APIs) solely to return nearby results, and are not stored by us or attached to your identity. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your device settings; the app still works if you enter a city or ZIP code manually. Precise location is used for app functionality only — it is never used to track you and is never linked to an identity.
Your preferences (theme, search radius, filters), your saved day plan, your milestones, and your roll streak are stored locally on your own device (in app storage on iOS, or your browser's local storage on the web). Deleting the app, or clearing your browser data, removes them. None of this is transmitted to us.
Rollout+ subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see or store your payment card details. Your subscription status is provided to the app by Apple so it can unlock paid features. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Place searches are fulfilled by OpenStreetMap (privacy policy). Tapping to get directions opens your device's chosen maps application, which is governed by that app's own privacy policy. We do not share any information with advertisers or data brokers, because we do not collect it.
Rollout is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
